A little about me…
Originally from New York, Laurie now lives in West Virginia. Laurie has always had a love for
the arts. After moving from New York to West Virginia, she discovered a passion for watercolor.
Her work has been widely exhibited across the United States and has also exhibited in Japan,
Turkey, Greece, Canada, England and China. Her work can be seen in Splash 13, 14, 18, 21
and 23. She has also been published several times in Watercolor Artist magazine as well as Art
of Watercolour magazine. Laurie curated a book about Contemporary Women Watermedia
Artists titled Her Voice. She is a Member of the Watercolor Honor Society and a signature
member American Watercolor Society, and the Transparent Watercolor Society of America. Her
work earned her the High Winds Medal at the 150th Anniversary Exhibition of the American
Watercolor Society. In 2022, she was honored t be included in the International Watercolour
Masters Exhibition in England, and she demoed and taught there.
